Some of the visible ecological and social impacts/changes in the Darewadi village are: 

• Empowered, aware and motivated community leading a dignified life with secured livelihood and being able to take care of their ecosystem,
• Changed cropping pattern with more vegetables, horticulture, floriculture,
• Increased number of milch animals and enhanced milk production,
• Darewadi village stands as a firm example, a resource centre, in terms of on the ground proven technology of watershed development made possible through community participation.
