The Threshold
Sahyog Sansthan was working in adjoining villages and they initiated a dialogue with the community on the existing situation.
A Participatory approach was applied to identify problems and root causes, through the following:-

Community was mobilized to get organized into small groups.

Exposure visits and interactions were arranged to learn from successfully implemented projects.

Community was motivated to follow integrated approach wherein simultaneous development of watersheds, common pastures, arable/cultivable land takes place while soil erosion and Illegal tree felling is also addressed.
