Rasgan is a village located at the foothills of the Aravalis in the Ramgarh mandal of  Alwar district in  Rajasthan bordering Haryana. The rearing of goat bucks for Bakr Id (Eid-ul-Zuha) is a key livelihood activity for a large number of households in the village, and, over the years, Rasgan has emerged as an important centre in the region for this activity.
