Pregnant goats are not sent out for grazing with the herd. Tree loppings of tamarind, ber, Ambari (Brown hemp and subabul (leucaena) are collected by women to feed pregnant goats. In addition crop residues of Soybean, tur (pigeon pea) and moong (green gram) are also fed.
