Family poultry nutrition and feeding - The semi-intensive system

This presentation is part three in the series of ‘poultry nutrition and feeding’. It explains the feed resources and feeding practices prevalent in semi-intensive poultry production systems. It also details the differences in nutrition and feeding under semi-intensive and intensive systems. The presentation also focuses on the need to balance feed supply with provision of compound feed that has to supply approximately 70 percent of the nutrients.
