The video presentation explains the principles and components of bio-security in the context of family poultry producers. It emphasizes that bio-security measures should be feasible, practical and sustainable to ensure that they are easily adopted by poultry rearers. Further, the presentation elaborates on various practical measures, such as isolation, controlling traffic of people and birds and sanitation, which can contribute to achieving bio-security.
