Quality Evaluation of Meat, Skin and Wool from Garole Sheep - a Promising Breed from India

The aim of this study was to evaluate meet quality of Indian Garole Sheep for human consumption and to provide better understanding about its skin and wool quality to stimulate its utilization and marketing.

The high genetic potential and good quality of meat, skin and wool of Garole sheep of West Bengal, India is highly encouraging and shows a great promise for improving rural economy if proper development efforts are made.
