Dayaram Deevan, aged 40, a resident of tribal village Bahul Lamker belongs to the Kalar community. His work as a village facilitator provides a critical link between the community and the district veterinary hospital, and ensures that preventive health care, by way of regular vaccinations and de-worming is available at the `door-steps’ of the community.
