Indubai carefully followed and applied the lessons taught to her during the training and began providing clean water to her chickens. She also added potassium permanganate or Turmeric to the water for the poultry which helped in reducing incidence of Salmonellosis - the root cause of White diarrhoea in poultry birds.

Till date Keena has successfully reared six cycles of Kadaknath birds and finds pride in running this enterprise, which has stopped her family from frequent migration. “There is no need for the family to migrate in search of wage labour anymore”, contends Keena.
